Brandon Joseph Gilmour Harrison

"I was born and raised in Taranaki. In my spare time, I enjoy riding and working on motorcycles, painting, and spending time with my people.

Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to be a tattoo artist. I’ve been into drawing since I was a toddler, but my introduction to the world of tattooing was tagging along with my dad as a kid to watch him get a tattoo. From that moment, the obsession kicked in.

The environment, the people, the smell, the sound- it all sparked something inside me.

As a kid, I would find my way to every tattoo festival in my hometown. I would save up my pocket money to buy tattoo magazines and drawing supplies. I was, and to this day still am, completely in love with tattooing.

After leaving high school, I worked a number of different jobs while trying to find my way towards my goal of becoming a tattoo artist. I took the leap and enrolled in a Diploma in Art and Design, giving myself the opportunity to develop my skills and take my art more seriously.

I began my tattooing journey while continuing my studies and working early morning shifts at a grocery store. It wasn’t always easy juggling everything, but I knew tattooing was what I wanted to pursue, and I was willing to put in the work to get there.

I love tattooing all styles. To me, a tattoo that makes me happy is one that makes my client happy. I do, however, particularly enjoy American Traditional, Old School Fine Line and Blackwork. I take enjoyment in working across a lot of different styles and putting my own twist on them.

My goal is to create tattoos that read as a “Brandon Harrison tattoo” - something that my clients and I can both be proud of.

Tattooing has connected me with so many people and shown me all kinds of walks of life. I don’t tattoo for one type of person, one crowd, . I tattoo for you. I tattoo for everyone.
